You can get something similar through Everlane! Check out their ReKnit flats.
Should have known - loveeee Everlane
Vivaia makes the same type of shoes (out of water bottles) but has way more styles and is a bit cheaper. I have a few shoes from them - flats, boots, loafers and have been happy with them
I like them because my feet always smell (I swear I shower!) and they wash so easily without losing their shape. Also just really good “basic” shoes to have for easy travel packing.
But to the comfort perspective, I could never do their pointed toe flats because the material def grates a bit.
Personally, I don’t think they are. You can get a nice pair of leather flats/loafers for the same price and they’ll last longer and look nicer. Rothy’s are basically plastic and lack real arch support
I have the loafers in the tan / oatmeal color and love them. Wore them brand new all around a client site in the rain, walking through grass, etc. with no blisters and I can wash them easily. I do think a lot of the other colors seem too casual though due to the material and other styles haven’t been as comfortable for me.
I love them but fit varies by style. I have like 10 pairs and the colored ones are such an easy way to jazz up an outfit. They pack easily, wash easily, and personally I think they are incredibly comfortable, I walk miles in the almond toe ones.
These are great responses! Thank you everyone for the input 🫡
I love them but can only get the pointed flats to be comfortable. I get shoe bites with all other types. The original version used to be terrible with arch support but the new version is actually fairly decent.
I bought some because they were comfy in store. But man are they painful. If you think leather can leave a blister, try chopped up plastic.
I’m honestly shocked at how many ppl are saying the shoes are painful. I have very hard to fit feet, slightly wide, incredibly high arches, and super sensitive skin prone to blisters and have never had an issue with Rothys.
I guess it just goes to show how personal fashion is and it really doesn’t matter what others say bc your experience might be different.
