There's always some sadness when you've moving on, and I'd suggest making sure you don't let that take too much of your attention. You can stay in touch with the people you want to, and looking forward to what's next should be the main focus. I've got friends I made at jobs years ago, so it's possible to stay in touch and maintain friendships formed in the workplace.
I will definitely see some of the people afterwards. It just feels like a home that I'm leaving. I have to remind myself of the very good reasons I'm leaving.
Celebrate everything you are taking from that job, accomplishments, relationships, and challenges you might have overcome. It is closing one chapter, but everything has worked together to bring you to the next.
I understand that! Wearing many hats can bring a lot of excellent learning opportunities, but at some point, you want to put some away.
It is always hard to leave something familiar, even if you are off to bigger and better things. Take what you have learned into the next role as you continue to grow and learn more.
Transitions are always a mix of excitement and nerves. My biggest advice would be to stay curious and open in the new role, while keeping in touch with the people who supported you here... those connections are gold. What's the first thing you're most excited about in your next chapter?
