Best resource to learn SQL?
Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Yes, 1st is to remember WHO you are having a meeting with and most importantly, the fact that you are literally declaring that He () is greater when you start your prayer - greater that them and their opinions. On the Day of Judgment, your colleagues will wish they prayed like you did. Since He () is greater, we don't rush our obligations to Him in order to please other than Him. I literally compare how I treat Allah () with how I treat those I respect. Do you rush and speak mindlessly when presenting before your boss? Do you make it obvious that you have somewhere else to be? Allah () deserves better from us, rather, He deserves the BEST. All fard are literally less than an hour out of our day. However, if we were to spend our entire existence in sujood, we still would not have even thanked Allah () enough for the gift of our sight alone. Let that sink in. This became really to me because I literally just left tawaaf and there are some Nigerian men who are blind but they perform tawaaf without fail. They are there, every day. No matter how long it takes, despite the anxiety that comes with being in such a busy place and not being able to navigate it as easily as you and I can.
The above is solely from a mindset perspective. Allah () has always taken care of You - in life before this job and in life after it. In the womb before your beloved mother knew you and your boss did too. Whatever happens, with the people, with the job etc. He will always be there for you. Jobs don't last forever, you relationship with your Rabb does. Companies will lay a person off or just be horrible to them without a 2nd thought and sometime you simply outgrow the company. The contant is that Allah () gave you that job, the fard with khushuu is literally the least we can do. That being said, I love the fact that you have not only recognised the need to reconnect, but are also actively seeking support.
The 2nd thing I did was to replace my 1 hour lunch break with 20-30 minute prayer time slots in my calendar. This meant no one could really say anything to me because I was literally rearranging MY TIME in order to worship My Rabb.
3rd is to block out that time in your calendar with a little bit of a buffer in-between so you don't feel rushed. Block out more time than you need. Time for wudu, time to walk to the mat, time for Surah of decent lengths.
Know your adkhar. Have a set that you do without fail. No matter what. Have them memorized so you don't need to refer to any notes or search your memory for what's next. Allah () loves you for trying. He also loves consistency - even when the action is small. Even if all you can start with is the recommended Ayatul Kursi - sit and do it.
Arrive on time, not just to thd prayer mat but in the morning. I was there before everyone else so my commitment could never be questioned.
You will feel anxious sometimes but know that deep down everyone respects the discipline and dedication it takes to pray 5 times a day. On time. Every time.
I am tired and the above is my stream of consciousness. However, I pray something in there will be of benefit.
Jummah Mubarak!
Jazakallah for sharing!
I have the same problem.
What I have been trying to do is slow down the wudhu to get mentally prepared. I am trying to do some dhikr before and take my time with the Niyyah. Not saying it is working but I am hoping it will.
