Be wary when applying for a place that preaches family friendly values and are all about being chill. 9 times out of 10 its run by a family with very particular ways of doing things but will expect excellence from you immediately. They are not your friends or family and they do not care about you

You can say that again, my last gig was a "Company with family values" Let me tell you they treated us all like cattle, very rigid all around, zero work life balance, all that interviewed me friendly as could be, promised of moving up in the organization, led only to my resignation 4 years into it. Sadly I loved the job, but the family owners ran it very poorly. You were told regularly, you will do whatever is needed or we will find someone who will. This meant traveling 500 miles away from your home store to fill in at other locations, they didn't ask either, you were told, here is your itinerary for your flight, rental car, hotel. You will be gone 1-3 weeks as needed. Holy hell I don't mind helping, but at least ask!

Oh wow that's harsh!

I’m beginning to think these companies that speak to culture all have culture issues. I have seen it twice already. They need to stop just talking about it and actually create the environment they speak of. Don’t invite me into the fold, thinking it’s a change from the “norm”, when it’s just an extension of it

I have been advised that by my job coach ,if it says we are one big family then that's not true

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
Idk how to let go of this :/ Thoughts?

How does one try to learn Altyrx with no experience and no (current) access to it? I work at a small firm and am going crazy with so many inefficiencies in repetitive tasks occupying myself and my staffs time. I’d like to self learn and try to come up with concrete solutions to pitch to the partners but want to know what I’m talking about before I do. Any thoughts & suggestions are welcomed.
