Been seeing more and more jobs labeled hybrid when they’re really just full-time in-office with permission to leave early on Fridays. One even said “hybrid = 4 days in office minimum.” That’s just… a commute. I’m fine going in when needed, but this bait-and-switch is exhausting. Why are companies still playing games with the word hybrid?

How to get released from the tcs project?

My students come to my class first every morning and are really hard to settle. They continue to carry on whatever they were doing on the bus. It takes about 20 min to get them settled down and doing the warm up and the class is only 45 min. Any tips?

Just had an amazing interview at one of the top Japanese banks. Should I not get ahead of myself? Already visualize myself in the role!

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?
