Working in the energy industry for over 8 years. Been working with GIZ for the last six years as a national employee in Pakistan. Lots of experience in B2B, energy access and utility scale renewables. Is automated bidding the only way to go about? I know manual bidding may not be efficient but is there a middle path where you can get good efficiencies but also have control over your bidding?

Anyone got a six figure base as an AE? Hunting around for companies with 6-fig base and similar commission. Seems to be mostly field / enterprise pay.

What happens to your shares if you are partially, or not even 1 yr vested at a pre-IPO company and the company goes public? When you continue on your vesting schedule, what price do you purchase your vested shares at?

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.
