Can we agree that in 2026, we're not accepting resumes and cover letters that are clearly AI generated? If a candidate can't take the time to create their own resume, why should we trust them to put their all into their work?

I completely disagree. So many hiring teams are using AI filtering, it seems a little bit hypocritical as an industry for us to expect our applicants not to use every tool at their disposal. Especially because many teams are now requiring AI implementation during the actual workday.

Exactly. We’re constantly looking for candidates with AI expertise and ways to integrate AI strategy into HR. If you’re not using AI to work for you, you’ll be left behind.

The issue isn't with the candidates; it's with the system. By promoting ATS-optimized resumes, we're inadvertently pushing candidates towards machine-generated profiles, which can lack individuality and human touch.

If we're rejecting resumes for lacking a personal touch, we should acknowledge that the current system encourages this format. It's become a necessary evil in today's job market. Perhaps it's time to rethink how we evaluate resumes and consider a more balanced approach that values both ATS compatibility and human expression." 😊

Tobe honest even this is AI corrected reply😄

I get the frustration, but I think the issue is effort, not tools. I use AI as a draft assistant, not a replacement. Discernment matters more than purity tests.

Why would it be an issue for a candidate to utilize AI to clean up and or be concise regarding what they've done in the past and or to streamline or shorten job duties and such? AI is becoming an aide in drafting on the business end and will continue to be used more often than it is being used now in its infancy of introduction. For more heartfelt communication-a phone call for a screen or in-person interview would be much more appropriate.

I've been rejecting resumes that look like they were created by AI for months for this exact reason!

I disagree! I want them to use it so I get a well formed and articulated resume. Taking the time to make sure it’s professionally done and aesthetically appealing means more to me than anything else. Plus companies are using software that looks for certain things that a human would never catch. It’s the way of the future and current technology.

I've seen this reply before. Did you post on a different thread?

To fellow Agency Producers. how often are you doing print producing, as well as video production? My agency doesn’t have a print producer in house, and I am finding myself doing that job + the normal video production of campaigns we continually do. I feel over worked and underpaid. Any advice or thoughts?

ADHD medication with high Blood Pressure?

I found ADHD meds helpful when I worked in consulting in my 20s. I stopped the meds when I went back to school. Also have had High BP since late 20s. 15 years away, I am back in consulting and loving it, however my difficulties juggling so many projects/tasks is holding me back. I know I would benifit from some ADHD medication but my Dr won’t prescribe any with my history of BP (controlled with BP meds). Anyone else gone through this? Any tips?
