Curious how people think about compensation growth in underwriting after the first several years. Early on the raises felt noticeable, but lately they’ve been pretty small even though the accounts I handle are much larger. It’s making me wonder if the real way to increase salary in this field is switching companies rather than staying put. Has that been true in your experience?
