Can someone give me a range for salary for auditor with 2 years experience transferring to FDD associate? In HCOL (New York/ SF). I have been requested to give a figure and don’t want to go too low. Thank you!

I think KPMG has a pretty good training and onboarding process for new FDD hires (Lakehouse bootcamp, reading and training materials for review, and the shadow program). How’s onboarding and training looking like for PwC / EY / Deloitte?

Why does everyone say the work in FDD is so much better than audit? I’ve been in the group for a few months now, and it seems to be just as bad if not worse.

Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?

I'm kind of in the mindset of only doing FDD at big 4, otherwise I'll go straight to industry. Am I being too down on mid-market FDD experience and the related exit ops?

Also, I can't go the route of doing FDD at a different big 4. Already got rejected by all of them cause I'm not in audit (but have CPA).

For anyone who was able to make the move from FDD to IB, outside of Compensation, what have you enjoyed more about IB?

From Big4 Transparency: S1/MCOL/2YOE/FDD making $97k. Managers MCOL close to $150k.

very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?
