Just received an offer from Deloitte (advisory SC, in risk and financial group (gps?)): $152k, $8k sign-on living in DC. Currently $135, but I would have to pay my current company apx 7k to move (payback for TA). DC area, in a highly cleared space. Any recommendations on how to counter or if its worth it?

Background? These above seem really below market.
JD/LLM should be 200-210.
CPA probably 180-185.
I think part of this is that PWC has instituted pay policies that don’t really line up with the rest of the big4.
I don’t deny that there are going to be CPAs up in the 180s (and I guess based on the below, 200) and that is why I initially had that there, but anything at the M/SM pay is going to be heavily dependent on performance so you’re looking at probably a huge range from people who have really proved themselves and are close to the LLM payscale and those who have only winnowed it down some.
I’ve historically seen the discount be 40/30/20/10 from A/SA/M/SM. Perhaps that is changing. I think PWC might just be blowing up comp models - they have been very aggressive.

I know the external new hire senior base is at 180k level with CPA at pwc. Wondering what would it be for manager.
External hire budgets tend to have a lot of room if that is what you are referring to. If it’s 180 for a senior, it’s probably 240-250 for a manager.
