They're unicorns. Fully remote insurance roles are increasingly hard to find. Some do still exist, but you're competing with everyone else fleeing RTO mandates for them. Definitely start looking now if you're adamant about staying remote. You want as much application time as you can get.
Thank you - that's great advice! I will keep plugging along.
I remember articles about how remote work was the way of the future and that simply hasn't proven true. Most companies have demanded that people return to the office and the people working remotely seem to have been grandfathered in. I would think it would be difficult to find a new remote, or even hybrid, position these days. There may be some that exist, but the competition for them would be intense.
I have found that to be true and may have to figure out what works for me.
What kind of role are you looking for? I’m 100% remote at Progressive. They have hybrid roles as well.
Yes, claims tends to start 100% in person while you get used to how the role works, and then transition to hybrid where you come in for meetings.
Rising Star
I’ve been remote for 10 years and if I had to go to hybrid… I think I wouldn’t be able to handle that. Especially with being away from my kiddos. It would hurt them more than me I think at least.
