Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.
Give me 1 reason why I should accept the offer from BCG?
My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say, there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary. Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.

It is about to become (if it isn’t already) WAY too hot to be biking to some place you don’t want to show up completely drenched in sweat. Sit in your car and enjoy the AC
I agree, the summer heat is picking up real fast.
I prefer to bike because I can't stand sitting for hours in traffic + sitting all day at work. I'd rather take my chances on my bike (always wear my helmet of course) and I take less busy roads which make me feel more confident. Unless it's the dead of summer (late July/August), I always commute by bike
Depends on the distance and route, but biking isn't that bad in town. I biked from East Side just south of the river into Downtown for work many times when I worked downtown. Plenty of hike and bike trails to barely touch the roads, and it was a smooth trip.
I am Austin a lot and I feel you have to be very brave to ride a bike on the open road! Good luck!
How far is your work? Biking is a great idea but I will tell you it gets really hot in the summer and the bike lanes aren't really that great here. If you decide to bike just be really careful and make sure you drink lots of water.
Depends significantly on your route. If there are protected lanes the whole way, it should be very safe.
Austin drivers are insane. I see too many flowers/crosses on the side of the road everywhere. Sit in your car and drive imo
Definitely consider getting an e-bike to make it less of an issue to bike in the summer. Otherwise, it depends on where you’re biking from and to.
