Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

If the only growth you have on your radar is on designation and titles, then do not join BCG. The hierarchy is flatter than what most are used to - and they aren’t so many steps on the career growth ladder that BCG can keep nudging you to the next one. If learning is your motivation, then there is a lot that can be learnt at BCG that will also be valued outside (higher education or a Google like company) . So make a wise decision - oh and BCG pays well! Like really well - if you are the right fit!

Don't underestimate the power of the MBB brand, especially if you got MBA in mind. You won't believe but for everything in KPMG KGS they need minimum 2 yrs. Talk about slowness

Don’t join bcg bro. Its pathetic here
I heard the same. Bain pays higher than bcg. Bain became rank 1 and bcg rank 3 with mckinsey on 2nd. Also in terms of tech stack bain is more advanced than bcg
