Deciding between UCLA Anderson ($$$) and Booth. Interested in pivoting to entertainment and know LA is more of a base for that but am hung up on the “prestige” of Booth and what doors it may open in the future. Overall, am thinking the $ Anderson is offering and connections to the industry would be a better fit than Chicago. Thoughts or long term considerations I should have?

3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.

3. Always talk to people of team you will be joining before you accept offer or atleast before you join company.

My friends think it's cool that I "get to" travel all the time, they don't get how disruptive my job really is... #flightattendantproblems

Had a phone call last week with T15 adcom inquiring if they had additional merit funds. Adcom said she would pass my name to scholarship committee and would only hear back if I was granted more aid. She did say she would follow up with me as we got closer to deposit deadline (end of month). Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).
