Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run
Does anyone want 2016 APICS CSCP exam materials? Totally free, asking for the shipping cost tho. They haven’t been used, someone gave me their version and I used those to study
Applying to McKinsey & Company & Boston Consulting Group be an associate after being a SM1 at PwC and SC at Deloitte. Below T20 MBA and worked in FDD and DDV at D and PWC. Do I have a realistic chance to be interviewed? Does it make me look too desperate?
Is it worth throwing my hat in the ring to be an ABM with 1.5 year agency experience and no MBA? Really want to try something new while I’m moldable, and be compensated properly for my drive and abilities.
Let’s discuss gender pay gaps by assessing our own discrepancies. I’ll start. I’m a 29 YO female, almost 6 years experience total, at a 115 base, guaranteed 126 if I meet utilization, with potential for more bonus. No target school or MBA. I’m happy with where I’m at, but are my male counterparts on here making more or relatively the same?

Hi Friend, Could you please let me know about vacancies for Consultant or Senior Consultant position in a Management Consulting firm? I have 2.5 YOE post MBA in Power and Utilities in a Big 4 company. Thanks for your time.
I need some inputs on if I should pursue a MBA. Goal that I would use MBA for is getting into VC, only a undergrad internship in that space, or doing a search fund and like micro PE. I would consider corporate VC too. Alternative is to focus on meetups to meet founders, getting a better job and hit the accredited investor status so I can invest with angels. Undergrad was a top business school, so I feel strong with finance and other functions.
My background is purely in tech & would like to pivot to financial consulting by pursuing an MBA in finance. Will I be viewed as a risky applicant? (Since I don’t have any prior professional experience in finance?).
What’s the deal with headhunters? After finishing my MBA I’ll be at Strategy&. Do I reach out to them? Do they reach out to me? What are the legit firms?
Applying for MBA with 4 years of professional experience and hoping to move into IBD. Is it too late to make the move?
MBAs and Strategy Consultants: If you were to do it all over, what is the most efficient way to become a “master” at case interviewing? Read each MBA program’s consulting club’s case books? Then practice? If yes, is there any specific order/sequence of case types to prepare for?
Looking to eventually break into FAANG PM and wondering if I need to pursue an MBA first. Non-target undergrad, but have SWE and product experience from current and previous roles. What’s the best path forward? Any advice would be hugely appreciated!
Anyone at Apple or Facebook willing to have a chat? I am currently pursuing an MBA and these are my two dream companies for the summer internship but I don’t know anyone working there
L1B to L1A then EBC1 - possible? I’m currently on a L1B at Accenture, based in US which will expire soon and getting extended. Accenture hasn’t been super helpful with my immigration inquires. I’m up for manager and debating if I should do the L1B to L1A transfer or just wait it out until my L1B expires. Do I not qualify for EBC1 since I got my L1A in the country and not prior to transferring with that 1 year managerial experience abroad?
What are some of the best consumer tech firms to target in Europe? Looking for a right fit after 5 years in MBB consulting. Wanted to check specifically about firms such as N26, Revolut, Delivery Hero, GetYourGuide as I found roles in them.
Carreer in strategic consulting: Bain or EY-Parthenon for an Associate Consultant starting a carreer in management consulting this year. In terms of progression, salary, types of projects and recognition
How important is your starting Salary coming out of College? I just got an offer to work in Audit at a big 4. I know there’s a lot of other possible opportunities to pursue that pay more. Should I pursue the higher salary opportunities or focus on the good experience I’d get from audit/big 4
Is this a red flag? I have been at 2 companies and have 3 YOE. 2 years at the first company and 1 at the second. Company I’m interviewing with right now is dragging me through the coals about it like I’m some kind of serial job hopper. Ive never experienced this at any other interview I’ve had. Is this seriously that big of a deal?
Potentially silly questions but when people generally say that you have to be at MBB to make the jump to PE, are these folks doing PE type work like diligence or something relevant or are they doing more broad type of consulting and getting into PE because they have the MBB brand?
Guess what happens to white man who premeditatedly shoot at cops? They get handcuffed and charged and get released on bail. And that's only the second part of the story. https://www.twincities.com/2020/12/17/coronavirus-bar-story/amp/

I am currently a fund accountant and am thinking about jumping ship to a new firm. I’m at a small fund and although the culture and WLB are great, I can see that there is no opening for assistant controller coming any time soon. Is it a bad if I consider looking elsewhere when I’ve only been there for a year? I hear it’s a strong market for candidates so I don’t want to miss out on a potential better opportunity for my career. Greatly appreciate any input.
I’ve been with ACN for 3 years now and want to start job hunting to see what’s on the market. Any tips for the interviews? (best presenting myself, salary questions etc) Haven’t done any in the past 3 years; forgot how it felt like..
