Do you believe technology and AI could soon replace most jobs or do you believe we will move into a role of working alongside AI?

I tried to use ChatGPT to develop some Python code for certain processes that would have taken me a week to do unassisted. I am not an expert at machine learning but know enough to be dangerous. It produced the code and I spent a couple hours working it into a form that I can use and tinkering when it wouldn’t work. In the end, the code worked but the result is still bad. We are far from being reliant on AI. We will need people to tinker and troubleshoot. But it can make certain jobs easier.

It is true that the advancement of technology and AI has already replaced many jobs in various industries, and it is likely that this trend will continue in the future. However, it is also important to note that technology and AI are not perfect and still have limitations. Certain jobs that require creativity, empathy, or complex decision-making skills are less likely to be fully automated in the near future.

Therefore, it is more likely that we will move towards a future where humans and AI work together in a complementary way. For example, AI can assist humans in making more informed decisions or automate repetitive tasks, while humans can provide the emotional intelligence and adaptability that machines lack.

It is also important for individuals to continuously upskill and adapt to changing technological environments to remain relevant in the workforce. So, rather than fearing that technology and AI will replace most jobs, we should focus on how to work alongside them and leverage their capabilities to enhance our own skills and productivity.

I feel like this what written by ChatGPT (AI platform).

No, I do not believe technology and AI could soon replace most jobs. There are certain jobs that can be automated, like those in factories, but many jobs require human interaction and creativity that cannot be replaced by technology.

What are your thoughts on working at a multicultural agency? I am more for fighting the good fight to properly represent the Hispanic community and address it as part as the General Mkt (as is should be) and I worry that if I switch to a multicultural-focused place I will never convey the thoughts of being part of the total market. Am I overthinking it? Gracias!

Hi fishes, i have 6 years of work experience .HR round for pepsi is scheduled for tomorrow for L5 role. Current package is 7.6L including variable. How much should i ask during salary discussion?

Can someone explain why I see these notices go up every now and then?

No one ever calls any attention to them; they just get quietly posted in the printer room on a bulletin board no one checks.

With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

Do you feel like hiring with diversity in mind is sometimes necessary at the cost of merit-based hiring? How might one go about it in a way that's respectful and moving toward greater diversity when you happen to have a pool of candidates for a particular role in which it would be a choice you have to make?

Hey friends! So I left PwC (risk assurance, did a bit of consulting) about 4 years ago for industry, and have been working in supply chain ever since for a major retailer.
