I struggle every week. Something that has helped me is to keep all my work stuff on a separate phone and then power it completely down on the weekends.

Love that! Turning the work phone off sounds so freeing — no pings, no guilt, just weekend peace 😌
I think it's all about just personal boundaries. Just because other people want to get ahead doesn't mean that that's how you work and you shouldn't feel pressured to respond just because of how they work. There should be absolutely no expectation that you are available or responsive during your time off.

Agreed with Analyst 1 on the work culture but I’m getting better at reminding myself that other people’s hustle hours don’t have to be mine!
I've just made a rule for myself that I can't get involved with anything on the weekend unless it's an absolute emergency. I usually don't even look at any messages. Sometimes people just write while they're thinking of something, before they don't forget, and that's fine, I don't hold that against them. However, I still avoid dealing with it, I just feel like that would set a really bad precedent.

That’s a really healthy mindset. I like that you recognize people might just be getting thoughts out, but still choose not to engage.

I used to but have gotten much better

Curious was there something that helped you shift that habit?

Just don't? Haha idk I've never struggled with the urge to work on Sunday.
