So what is your experience in increasing ECTC while getting subsequent job offers? How much increase shall we ask on top of previous offer? E.g. I don't personally. Finding a job is very difficult right now. I can't picture any new hire walking out after spending so much effort just to get the job in the first place. In the unlikely event they did, it would depend on the amount of time that had passed. If we're talking very short (a month or less), I'd consider reaching out to my second choice. If it'd been longer than that, I would be more inclined to start everything over.

I've known of situations where people have left new positions fairly soon, and as I recall the process started over. I think the reasoning was that enough time had elapsed and it was assumed the other candidates had moved on. In scenarios where someone was given an offer but things fell apart for whatever reason, an approach was made to the candidate in second place.
