Special counsel or MLA 2020 survey (2022 mla does not have counsel).
Citibank is in Tampa and paid around 125 for someone around that level. Bank of America is in charlotte and paid around that too.
I just started a role and base salary is 130k in the northeast (not NYC). 2021 grad, no big law or top school.
I’m in a similar role (CO 2020) in a tertiary market (think smaller than what you listed) but with an international corp and my salary is 125k base. Went to a T3 school but graduated in the top 5%. Was hired this summer if that helps.

What industry and what role? (Regulatory, corporate, litigation, etc)

Yeah. Corporate gets paid and tech attorneys get paid. I’d expect $180k minimum.
