Do you guys judge everyone you meet based on their backgrounds (e.g. pedigree & work experience)?



I find literally everybody I meet, I look up their backgrounds and judge them / compare myself. I think this is a problem.

Best exit ops from FDD? Currently trying to get out of consulting. Ultimate goal would be to get into a PE shop, but realistically I know the chances are very slim. Anyone have advice for landing something else that is finance driven (I.e. Corp dev, strategic finance, etc)?

Been living in a luxury building for about a year and start noticing that I have a mild cough when I’m in the building. hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish.
