I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.

Gas is much more efficient than electric. Husband is a builder and always goes with gas when he can.

I have never not had gas heating - I can’t imagine using anything else. Never worried about it.
I’ll take gas over oil any day of the week
I don’t understand what your fear is? How was your home heated before?
Just make sure to have a few CO detectors with your fire alarms

Congrats! Unrelated question, but which builder did you decide to sign on with?
Thank you so much! I’m an anxious person and it’s such a large purchase :)

Every new construction in the past decade in the Twin Cities area have had, and continue to have, natural gas heating. Except maybe for geo-thermal heading, gas heating is the most efficient type.
There's really nothing to worry about.
Always had nat gas heat. Way cheaper than electric. Wouldn't want anything else. Just have co monitor. Ive always had elec stove and dryer though. I guess if i was building id go all nat gas.

Sign up with an HVAC company for annual gas furnace maintenance contract. They’ll come and check for leaks, clean the furnace, and you’ll be priority if you have a problem.
What kind of gas? Natural or LP? We have properties with both, natural is more reliable. For LP someone needs to come refill the tanks. Either way, new heaters have all kind of safety tech in place, you’ll be fine. Excited for you!! New construction is awesome!
My cap came off and had birds fly into the flue and get caught up in my furnace’s inducer fan. Ugh.

Nothing scary about gas heat! Totally normal. We’ve had it in both of our houses. I feel like electric is kind of unusual these days, but depends on the area I’m sure.
What other type of heat would you prefer?!

More expensive! Gas is the way.
Very safe, nothing to worry about. You can get a maintenance plan for your HVAC to have it serviced 2x year when it switches heating/cooling to mitigate any “is everything in order” concerns. That said been a homeowner for 25+ years and we do that maintenance every few years, not every year. No issues. Congrats!
Natural gas is pretty standard over on the west coast. Can’t imagine using anything else. It’s reliable and cheap. Get a gas dryer and water heater/tankless too if you can. CO monitor will cover you on risks.
