I'm not sure I believe that. I think this generation is certainly more inclined than its predecessors, but just up and quitting isn't feasible for most people if they don't have a backup plan in place.
Speaking only for myself, but I will tough out a bad boss over being broke any day.
Yes I definitely think that this is true. I am a millenial and I have quit several places because of a bad boss. I really think that a good or bad manager can make or break a place of employment. I am not staying somewhere that is toxic and dealing with a manager that doesn't know how to do their job.
I've put up with some bad bosses. I couldn't afford to just leave. And, it helps that I'm really stubborn and I wasn't going to let them grind me down. There's probably some situation where I just couldn't abide to work for someone, but I haven't gotten close to that yet.
