Do you think it's normal for a company to only give you two sick days for a full year? That's the sick leave policy at my new company. Heck, covid is an annual illness now, and the flu takes at least three days to get over, and if you have kids, hell, you'll blow through your sick days by the end of January. I'm grateful for the job, but I can see this being an issue.
