I alternate muscle groups so I have at least one day between them. The only thing that I will hit multiple days in a row is core. That I only adjust if I feel like I'm too tired to do something like squatting safely.
I personally don't. At least not when they're very sore. If it's a slight pain, then I take my rest days very seriously.
I have a schedule of different areas to focus on, so while I will be sore, it is taking the focus off one area. I do try to at least keep to something basic when I might not be feeling great. But none of this is lifting based either, so keep that in mind.
Do you have a set structure where you split muscle groups on different days? That’s what the other commenters have mentioned and if you do and your whole body is sore, I’d say maybe throw a rest day in the middle or an active recovery day (ie. light full body movements, cardio, yoga). Otherwise id say still go and work a different muscle group so the sore muscles can recover
