It’s all about the fit - get it right and you will feel like a million bucks! If you can carve out time to try different jackets and pant styles it will be worth it! Argent and Aritzia have become favorites for me. I wear same few things on rotation, mixing up with tops and thin sweaters.
Also don’t underestimate the power of a great jacket with a simple dress if that works better for you!
Good luck - we spend too much time working to not feel good in what we wear!
I just want pants that make my butt and legs AMAZING. Sheesh is that too much to ask
I don’t think pant suits are made for most women’s body type. They are made for men. You are not alone.
Yuuuuup. I think that the cut of the pants makes all the difference. I feel great in a flowy pant but hideous in what is supposed to be a “universally flattering” boot cut
I don’t know. Ask Kamala Harris.
Is she on this app?
Some women pull it off so well and i keep trying and i feel like i look like a man. Like Priya in the Big Bang theory - her pantsuits always looked so good but when i wear it the same way i look manly
I’ve never heard of kibble body type! I’ll check it out. Also, you’re prob right re tailoring. that’s a good point
I feel like they look great on people with straighter bodies. I have more of an hour glass with wide shoulders & hips, and I feel like they make me look huge, even more fitted ones bulk me out. I have one I like with a belted waist though, but harder to find those than normal 1-2 buttons
Don’t wear pant suits… I don’t
Skirt suit
Echoing the above, the cut of the suit matters so much. I also wear a v-neck blouse underneath which helps keep the neckline more open and works with my proportions better than a button-up. (I do think I look really school-marmy in the wrong pantsuit or if I don’t style it just right though, so I feel you)
