Hi! I’m Uruguayan, copywriter, ACD/CD level with 13 years of experience, half in my tiny country, the second half in Brasil. I’m on this bowl because I’d like to live and work in Amsterdam someday. I was waiting for some insights about the market and the city but as you have said not too much activity around here.
Do you have any tips to try to get a job there? Recruiters or ECD? Which one would be the best way? Any agency open to foreigners?

I think things are generally easy to figure out here actually. During these times though it’s been tough to follow (I don’t know Dutch yet) and then stress about what’s going to happen next. Our director at my job tells us to not worry, that the government provides assistance in times like this. Can’t help it... all my projects (which is in France), have been canceled/delayed indefinitely . Anyway, how’s everyone else doing? 🙃

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. Usually anonymity on the internet brings out the absolute worst in ppl; they type things anonymously that they would NEVER say in person smh. But I really haven’t seen horrible comments here. I wonder what makes this app diff frm others?

I decalred FBP, and the amount got deducted from my salary.
Now I can see I am eligible for some amount under FabP. What is it and when will I get it?
What exactly is the funda of it?
Let say I am eligible for x amount in FBP LTA. And some y of x got deducted in a specific month, now that y portion is showing in FBP tab to upload the bill.

What if in case I have LTA bill which is exceeding x amount itself, do I need to raise reimbursement request every month th with same bill?
