Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Well, you should head over to Reddit and view the https://www.reddit.com/r/overemployed/ subreddit.
You will find that some folks have multiple jobs, listed as J1 (Job 1 or their primary job), J2 (Job 2) and so on. For programming this is very possible in my opinion, especially depending on what languages you might program in and what tasks you have automated.
Good luck and keep us posted!
Thank you so very much!! I’m eager to start my second role to see what it’s like. Do you have any advice on how to manage?
