Just made M at Accenture and will make $155k. I have an offer to join McKinsey as a BA for $90k. I do really like my team and projects at Accenture and was able to progress fairly accelerated to M at ACN (so maybe could keep it up for progression to SM?). But also I know how much people value the MBB brand. Thoughts?

Considering an offer: I recently moved to the big4 at $155k + 20% (bonus likely to go down this next year due to covid but superbly secure job due to skillset). Job has been meh so far. A recruiter from a company I had applied to prior to moving to my current company reached out to me and I started interviewing for a c-suite role. Negotiated to $215k total comp. Is it worth moving or does it look bad to move so soon? Also unsure of how risky it is to move given the pandemic.

Wanted to share this somewhere!! Recently hit $200k net worth at 27 as a daughter of low-income first gen immigrants. I know this isn’t a lot compared to others here but it’s a lot for me!! I am surprised to see many people preferring thoughtworks inspite of having an offer with product based firms. Who are their clients? Hi all experienced masters. I’ve been working for about a year now and want to understand how progression works. I have worked extra hard in my first year to over perform by 2 levels, only to realise that the so called "performance based" also has an unspoken "at least one year gap between promotions" tag with it. Is this the norm? Should I taper my expectations (but also my drive) or any other advice?

Being black and in consulting is so exhausting. I really feel sorry for the black women. Every suggestion, deliverable, etc. is doubted even if you have a long history of quality work....
