Does your company do cost of living adjustments? Mine doesn’t and it’s hard not to feel like I’m going backwards in my career with 2-3% raises.

Ours are cost of labor, not cost of living. So whether you get an increase all depends on your base pay compared to market.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing

I’ve only had one ever, around 2020. It was minimal to say the least.

Annual increases are never market based or COLA based… they’re merit based and typically range from 1%-5% depending on your performance and company performance…

I used to see them when I was a supervisor, but I have never myself had one.

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?

Going solo to Denver next weekend for a couple of days. Planning to stay downtown, any hotel recommendations? Also any suggestions for things to do? Additional Posts in Salaries in Finance

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
