Start sending your other deal teams random deal related emails at 4 am so they know you were up late.
You handle it, realizing you’re at 70-80%, be extra careful
I treat a bad hangover a deliberating illness, albeit self induced. Take a sick day. That’s what I did yesterday.
I’m in the same boat my friend. I think if anyone pushes you for something you have an opportunity to slip in there something like: “thanks for your patience; I’ve been working through the night fighting a fire on another matter but will get back to you later today” etc. If you’re working from home, try and get a power nap or two in throughout the day to recharge. Just think about payday coming, that helps too!

😉 on a serious note though hope you get some sleep and are able to enjoy the long weekend. All nighters are never fun.
Better to let them know why there’s a delay than having them think you’re just slacking, no?
If they don’t understand you’re tired, they’re insane.
I’ve billed 240+ every month this year, so I’ve unfortunately had this happen multiple times a month. Log on at 10 am, and sneak in a couple 5-10 min power naps throughout the day. Stay hydrated. I actually quit drinking coffee last year and just stick with ice water now, and I feel more alert now. If you’re WFH, crack a window or turn a fan on — a light breeze can also help you feel alert. Try not to have any super heavy foods that will make you drowsy.
It depends on why you were up all night. If it was work related, definitely let them know. You need to earn that credit. If it was something else that people tend to relate to (for kids, family, etc), say it too. Otherwise, I would not say anything and just get some more coffee if it helps....
Did your deal close? Wake up for any actual meetings you have, let the more junior person on your team know that you’re going to be offline for a bit if they don’t mind stepping up and handling any random things that come in, and just sleep and don’t worry about it.
I’ve learned to sleep on Sundays... seriously
