My main factor to make this decision would be how many PGT normal embryos do you have? If you only have 1-3, I would 100% get an ERA.

My doctors office doesn’t do ERAs after I asked about it. Apparently the research doesn’t substantiate them. I don’t know why they won’t do it anyway?! I’ve had one failed transfer and am hard questioning it.
I had an ERA after two losses after two FETs. And they didn’t find anything wrong, so be prepared for that.
I just did an ERA because I had 2 failed FETs and 2 canceled transfers. My dr didn’t really suggest it as we tried so many tests and protocols. I had to advocate for it and ended up doing the trio (Emma/Alice/ERA) and Receptiva. Between the constant stress, my age, and limited embryos, I wanted to try everything. Still waiting on results but I needed the peace of mind. All that to say…go ahead!
I had an ERA and Receptiva test after two failed transfers. Both were positive - after changing protocols to address the inflammation and extra progesterone needed, we had a third failed transfer. The embryos were not tested though. We are back to the drawing board and need to do another egg retrieval; we plan to do genetic testing this time.

I wasted two transfers (3 if you count my miscarriage but I wouldn’t in this case) before I found an RE who would do an ERA.. my 4th transfer has been successful so far.
I 100% wish I’d been given the opportunity and pushed to get one sooner. I wasted some beautiful embryos and time (something I’ll never get back). Good luck!

My doctor at the time was convinced since I’d had implantation just fine (but miscarried) an ERA was unnecessary.. surprise!
I switched doctors and while even the second one wasn’t entirely sure it was something I needed to do, he didn’t care as I was the one paying.
Thanks so much! We have 2 embryos, waiting on PGT results. We’ve had 3 losses, so looking to throw everything we can at an upcoming transfer
Good advice! yes my Dr insisted on one after my D&C so thankfully all clear there! But yes fingers crossed for the PGT-A and then I have a consult scheduled later this month, so I’ll definitely push for an ERA
I had an ERA after 2 failed transfers and they didn’t find anything off with my progesterone timing. A modified natural transfer was also recommended as an alternative.
Our clinic, MGH in Boston (prestigious, not sure how much so - but not a know nothing small shop) indicated that eras are basically not only unproven, but rather proven to be a waste of time and money. More imports - they said that it takes 3 FETs to hit a 90% cumulative chance of pregnancy. - I only say that because it seems a ton of successful posts on here mention an ERA after attempt 2, with ERA and then a successful 3rd FET. Many may be confusing the ERA as the reason for success when really it was just the highly studied statistics playing out
