This is not normal if you are consistently feeling this way. Are there reasons, or something recent that has happened? Life is too short to live this way. Think about what the causes might be, and what can you change?
Dread when it starts turning into health related issues is when you should call it quits
If you're feeling like that on a consistent basis something is definitely wrong. And it's not just part of being an adult, most people wouldn't be experiencing that kind of dread. Perhaps it's time to get serious about finding another job if the position you've got is grinding at you to that extent.
It's not normal, please seek advice from a trusted professional at work and or leadership. Please 🙏 don't wait and if you have a EAP employee assistance program call them up usually free for what you’re going through. Please just don't hold it in and don't get to a point you react and blow up at someone. You deserve better for sure please take care of yourself. You come first remeber take care of you!
That’s exactly how I felt every Sunday for the last six months of 2025. That’s when I realized I was extremely burned out. Finding a new job and leaving in January was the best decision I ever made. It sounds like it might be time for you to start looking, too.
