I am currently living in tier 2 city.
Iam hearing a lot about job security in optum. Can someone please help me with work life balance and job security aspect in optum ?

What I hear often is that hyd is better than pune .... I have been to both places and I kinda concur to that ..... Every organisation is in news for lay offs,, in optum India there is not much impact as we are a GCC, there is an impact in the US .....
Moving is a big decision so do your expense analysis n pros n cons of the cities more than the organisation..... Coz layoffs can b anywhere, your skills and work matters ...... 48vs60 ..... Do all the math and see what's veat for you :)

How many married professionals with young families are just sticking it out “for the kids”? Marriage is very dead and has been for a while. Young kids 4 and 1. My wife and I don’t fight, but share 0 interests outside of the kids and can’t stand to be around each other. I’m so ready to leave… I just can’t bear the thought of doing it to my children even though another part of me feels like wife and I would both be better parents if our lives were separate. Anyone else done a similar analysis?

Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Hello Everyone,

I have received offer letter from Optum Global Solutions India recently and I am seriously considering joining it(I also have offers from Deloitte USI and Verizon).
My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter. So I want to understand how the Flexi and Special Allowance are paid monthly. Can someone please help?
