Can you elaborate a bit more? I often deal with anxiety and constant worrying. I heard mediation helps and I tried a few times but every time I sit down my thought races like crazy. My brain never turns off.
In terms of bricks and bones - these guys provide guided meditations, yoga workouts and teach you breathing techniques, which allow you to control your emotional responses using your breath.
More holistically though, they provide tools with which you can control your emotional reactions to things, which I feel appeals to Type A personalities like us. And the learning happens among a supportive and non-judgmental group of people. You can probably tell that I'm a fan haha.
Could you give me more info? I Googled it and got so many varying options with that name.
Look for the "Happiness Program" from the Art of Living - it's their foundational course, and most cities have a center that offer it a couple of times a month. It's a little expensive, but once you do it you have free access to weekly meets for life.
You can also download guided meditation tapes to your phone and listen to them. I’m sure it’s not going to be as effective as a group or class but it’s what I do and it really changed my life as well, for the better. I would highly recommend hypnosisdownloads.com
