Feeling a bit isolated in my department. How do you connect with colleagues in other branches or agencies to broaden your professional network? I’ve been in my role for a while now, but it feels like I only interact with the same small group of people. I know building a network is key for growth, but in government, everything feels so siloed. Have you found effective ways to meet people outside your immediate team—conferences, interagency projects, professional associations?

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.
