Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. You’d be surprised what you can get interviews for.
Go and apply for the ones you feel unqualified for, I literally applied for VP positions as an analyst and got interviews (I swear - this is how crazy the market is at the moment). The worst that can happen is that you don’t get considered…
I second this! Apply for jobs even if you don't feel qualified. You might be surprised.
Yeah the qualifications can be very misleading sometimes. We ask for 4+ YOE for associates but we do consider candidates with only 1.5 too. So don’t hesitate to apply if you think you are a general fit and the job is interesting for you.
