Hello Everyone, I have been teaching middle grades math for 8 years(have experience in 6th-8th, teacher leadership, and ed leadership certificate). My district posted an elementary academic coach position last week. Do you all think this would be a good move? Considering budget cuts and my experience or lack thereof.
My home district is considering grading for quarter 4. Is anyone else following this path? I am concerned how can a district grade when they do not support live teaching and the inequity of tech.?
My wife has been told by her boss to come up with 28 hours of PD for her district's paraprofessionals-does anyone know of any free online courses that would be appropriate?
Does anybody have a form that they love to document different ways you support your teachers? I want to take better notes on what I do with each of my teachers but I haven’t found a system I love yet
Many of the teachers I work with have great relationships with their co-teacher, but one team is really struggling. What can I do to help them get along?

Here’s an infographic with research from classroom coaching over the last 10 years. I hear a lot of “I feel more confident” and “It’s helpful to have a sounding board” What has your experience been? https://www.iecl.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/CER_Infographic-2017.pdf
Suggestions for difficult to reach teachers? It’s our 3rd year together, and we have a great relationship, but this teacher struggles with receiving feedback and wanting to reflect.
Does anyone use models of coaching aside from an expert model? (One where there’s an expert/coach observing the teacher and providing feedback)?
Do you have “coaching agreements” between teachers and coaches? What kind of information goes into that document? 📝

I recently read the following article and it made me think, what are ways you coach teachers out of the school or profession? https://mobile.edweek.org/c.jsp?cid=25920011&item=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.edweek.org%2Fv1%2Fblogs%2F144%2F%3Fuuid%3D79142
How do you keep teachers engaged in learning and improving teacher practice at the end of the school year? I find this time of the year to be the slowest and my least favorite, as a coach.
