When negotiating salary, what’s the highest you’ve ever asked for and actually gotten it? Did asking for a crazy amount ever backfire on you?

I have gotten an offer from Infosys BPM with 15% variable. How much % of the variable can I expect to get? And, on what factors is it dependent?

What is LPA location premium allowance mentioned in offer letter?? Is it variable part which we get end of year? Or will it be part of monthly salary?

Are there any good paying weekend research/lab jobs in Austin Texas? Because I’m getting $23/hr as a research coordinator and know for a fact I’m being under paid lol all because I am “new to research” yet I have a bachelors is biology and have done research projects in school and have plenty of other work experience…. I feel like all of my friends who work in tech are very open about their starting salaries and the increases each year. I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. Can anyone tell me the standard salary % increase in PA after your first, second, third promotion?

Had an interview today, for RN OnCall position. This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). I asked for the range and he gave the range then immediately stated that I would qualify for mid range. My goal is to find a similar position to the one I’m working now and add 20-30% to my income, the high range would meet

Does an MBI constitute an additional salary bump or bonus?

Question : I have two offers on the table. 1- 22.25/ hr - permanent position with benefits and vacation
2- 24.71 / hr - 12 month contract , 4% in leui of benefits , possibility for permanent

Both are 35 hours, same schedule .
Either decision will hurt someone. Whether it be coworkers or new employer.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.
