I highly recommend to do a food tour your first day. Perfect way to learn abt the city and try some good restaurants
Magnolias!

- Chubby fish!!! No reservations. Get in line early. Might not be as busy in the fall though. A unique curation of seafood. Love their caviar sliders.
- The caviar bar at zero George (or the zero George restaurant for their tasting menu)
- 167 raw oyster bar (great seafood, my preferred lobster roll in Charleston)
- bar167 (sister restaurant to the above, great for drinks but also they have a full food menu too)
- the darling oyster bar (my preferred raw seafood)
- bennes by peninsula grill (try their coconut cake + espresso martini)
- stroll around the shops at Charleston place and just overall shopping off king street
- visit the pineapple fountain and waterfront park area
- la patisserie for French desserts / pastries
- fiat lux rooftop bar for great views of Charleston (in the hotel Bennett which is also where la patisserie is)
- Porchetta shop for the classic Italian focaccia sandwiches. The porchetta is my #1 choice on the menu.
- rainbow row (a stretch of homes of different colors, beautiful facades and just quintessential Charleston)
…and many more. DM if you need more or have questions.

DM me your email and I’ll send you my list. It’s been about 2-years but I absolutely loved it.
Go on the good tour
It’s worth it
