Layoff in IQVIA?
@iqvia
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

EA1, if your “friend” really was fired for getting too drunk, it’s pretty apparent he’s the one lacking in professionalism. An anonymous question about an anonymous person in fishbowl isn’t the problem.
I love getting drunk AF at work events it makes this all worth it
Experienced accountant - give us a break. This type of thing is exactly what fishbowl is for. No one is naming names and I’m sure there are rumors a plenty etc. side not - it’s same as one guy that got hammered at our holiday party and was very lucky not to get fired. How people are so immature they can’t recognize a work setting and figure out shouldn’t get hammered is beyond me
Yes I am unprofessional for asking if this actually happens on fishbowl. I am okay with that and want to know if it was just true and if it was just getting drunk because that sounds a little too severe
This is very unprofessional to put someone else’s business out there. This is actually someone I know well and his career just took a huge hit because of 1 mistake. We are all human
Yep, the firm now needs to hire hundreds of new managers and sr managers to replace them.
Come on EA1 we know you have news share with us. I will get you a beer. Or two.
it wasn't because he was drunk, it was because he forgot to bring his laptop to the out of town training
Haha I was just trolling. I don’t know anything about this. I just knew that EY gossipers would be quick to defend OP. Whoever it was should learn to hold their liquor better!
Yeah, it’s got to be something worse than just getting drunk because we would lose half of our people under that standard.
Lol this reminds me of a story at my client. Big public company in nyc. Apparently at the holiday party, an employee got drunk and got the ceo's coat and threw it into the middle of the street. Holiday parties were cancelled for the next few years.
I have a two drink maximum. Then, I GTFO of Dodge before Bruce Banner becomes the Hulk.
He got fired for punching a cab driver? What an idiot. Gotta cover that shit up.
What did he do?
Definitely not worth risking your job....its just that when people drink it's very easy for it to get out of hand and it sneaks up on you. People do need to keep themselves to a maximum of only 2 or 3 drinks at work functions.
At the new senior training in Orlando last year, one girl was so drunk that she got sick/passed out in the handicap bathroom at Sea World. Once she unlocked the door, the staff kicked her out. Oh, and she still works for the firm. 🏆
Thank you! I just want to know if I need to stop drinking in all future events. Or at least learn from others mistakes!
I heard something about someone assaulting a cab driver at Milestone.
PwC 4. That's a nice one. Last time I drank on a training, I offered to pour down (and consume) shots from a peer's buttcrack. The Hulk had arrivethed.
Whoops...
