I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy.Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

I’m just hear to find out about what a “spend account” is and how to lobby for that perk at my company - because it sounds like an account I could use to expense work “ish” type things like printer ink, paper, and custom mouse pads/headsets. Or at least that’s what I envision being.
Why not use it how it should be used and the money you aren’t using towards those things you put aside like you are spending your own money and use that money for a ticket
Your company should have clear policy. Ask HR if you cant find it to avoid the expenses being rejected.

I have never had one, so not sure on what the policies surrounding it could be. Would definitely check into the fine print before spending it though. Also see if it rolls over or if there is some kind of expiration on it. We have a health stipend, that is use it or lose it by the end of the year.
If you're based in the UK, you can definitely use it for holidays. You can't use for normal travel costs (eg train fares to the office) but holiday flights are OK. Look on the website in your Rewards section, and it'll tell you what you can use it for. When you claim it, it will be treated as taxable earnings and you'll get taxed on the payment, but still a way to treat yourself.
Get a nice $500 chair like Herman Miller because you will be spending a lot of time in that chair if you’re remote/hybrid lol just give it some time
