I don't have it. I treat it like any other leave, sick time or vacation wouldn’t go on there either. If it comes up, I’m happy to talk about it, but I don’t want it to shift the focus from my actual work and skills.
What do you mean? I counted my maternity leave time as work time. I was still employed by the company, and time its not what matters most. What matters is what you can prove you know and the impact you can bring. No worries at all, doesn't make sense to have a gap or less time of work.

If you are still employed then I wouldn't include it personally

I would count it as time in the role if you’re still employed while on maternity leave. It’s not that you didn’t have a job at the time- you were just taking extended leave.
