I would definitely let your manager know. I understand about the lack of energy and motivation, and your manager should as well. Be sure to take care of yourself and your baby. That is more important than work. I wish you the best.
Since it's affecting your ability to work, I think it's best if you at least let your manager know. You can make it more publicly known when you're further along.
If you decide to let anyone know, do it via email and make sure to bcc your personal email so you have a record. It's always good to have a paper trail, especially if you're telling hr or upper management and you're struggling. Also, congratulations!!!
Congrats! My client accidently outed me at about 8 weeks and honestly it was the best thing. His wife was pregnant at the same time and he recognized the symptoms (me running out of meetings and eating only crackers) and asked me. Once it was out, everyone was super supportive.
Work with HR and get Intermittent Leave.
I would not let anyone know….just keep doing what you can. Hopefully it passes.
