I am a Senior Manager of Software Engineering and lead architect at a small company (was a startup with < 10 employees when I joined, now has > 50). I am the most senior technical person in the company (we don't have a CTO, I report to the COO), even though I only have 4.5 YOE. Does anyone else just not even want to be a people manager anymore?! The amount of work this is taking, I’m just so over it.
