Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

Nobody lives in Wilmington. It’s a ghost town after 5pm. $90K is very average for that role.
Where would you recommend living ? Do you also live in PA? What area?
I received 95 a few years back. Might be able to negotiate up a little more
I mean, its Delaware. I’m personally not a fan, but Philly and NYC are close! I work in Wilm but live in PA.
A lot of ppl I know love out by Oxford / Lancaster. Its cheaper for sure, but too far from Philly for me.
Also, you should understand the terms behind the relocation bonus. I believe you have to pay it all back if you leave the firm within 1 year of receiving it or pay back 50% of it if you leave within 2 years. You might also have to pay it back if you decide to relocate too within two years.
I don’t think so. It seems like 5k is the standard and they normally don’t like to give relocation bonus… sadly
Is this 601 or 602? Are you a city person or suburbs kind of person?
90 for a 601 is towards the top of the band for wilm. Amtrak is right by the Wilmington location so you’ll be good to commute if you wanted to come from Philly area or Newark, DE even
