Got pulled onto a project last minute and told to just figure it out. When I raised concerns, my lead shrugged and said, “That’s what consultants do.” I’m all for problem-solving, but this feels more like chaos than agility. Am I missing something, or is this just poor management dressed up as hustle culture? How do you handle being thrown into the deep end with zero support?

I have to say, I'd agree. That IS what we do as Management Consultants. We have two ears and one mouth and we use them in that proportion, and we use our expertise to add value to our Clients.

Scape goat much? I do recovery project so, step 1, is pmbok. Pmbok has specific documents such as scope. Charter, resources, etc. Start with those docs. If they do not have them create them and get sign-off. Talk to stake holders etc. If you do not have clear goals you are screwed.

Rem: if you can't measure it you can't manage it.

Hi Fishes,

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

Advice when looking for Tech Consulting internships in Chicago or DC Metro? My GPA (3.04) has disqualified me from most major companies. I've opted to focus my efforts into my student organizations and helping others reach their goals, in doing this I compromised for a B average. Are there any firms that will accept recommendation letters with the application? The networking route is also something I am exploring, but haven't had much success thus far. Any help is welcome!
