Im SC3 at EY Advisory, MBA non IT. Got an offer from D for SC3 at S&O for 135K no sign in bonus in top tier city. The recruiter says experienced hires don't get sign in bonus. BS. accept the offer?

Curious - would you consider a lateral move to a lower ranked firm if the practice group is higher ranked than at your current firm? In other words what’s more important - firm or practice group ranking?

Hello everyone, I'm a cs grad student graduating in may making a career transition from mechanical eng to cs. I had an internship but its been hard to find a fulltime dev role. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

I have not been brought up religious but I am beginning to think, I’d like to have faith in something. Doesn’t need to be dogmatic, but having a foundational belief in good things to come is probably essential and for someone like me who needs to work so hard to be happy, I wonder if being a part of a spiritual group can help. Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
