I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? I would def provide information about why your gpa is where it is. Mine was even lower and I ended up not getting internships and not getting the job I wanted until 6 months out of work through a referral. It’s silly how much they focus on gpa when work ethic, drive, people skills, etc should matter more. Some ppl have a 4.0 and are bookish smart but make horrible consultants. I’d look for referrals and draft a letter sharing your narrative
Thank you so much for the advice!

Forget your gpa. That ship has sailed. Focus on getting hands on skills now. If you are going into tech - pick a cloud and get a few certs. Build your own lab environment - watch everything you can on the cloud - like up the percularities of your cloud. Be able to talk about the cloud a tech features and how it impacts security, big data, etc
You can fix your gpa....but you can change the narrative by picking up real world skills
I love this! Thank you!
Sure DM me!
Provided FishBowl lets me get my love high enough for that!
Learn skills which are widely used in tech and get close to Enterprise level experience.
For example - SQL and Data viz are hot across the industry. Learn SQL and Tableau/Power BI and show your work by building dashboards on the public sites. HMs will not look at your GPA because some masters levels candidates are not proficient enough.
DM if you need more clarification. Hope this helps!
