Go to law school if, and only if, you’re prepared to study your ass off for the LSAT, get into a T14 school, are prepared to work your ass off to get a big law internship, study your ass off for the bar, and then be prepared to work 90+hour weeks for the next 4-7 years in the hopes of paying off your massive amount of student loan debt. If you’re not willing to do all of that, don’t go to law school
Does applying to law school/jobs as an experienced professional help at all?
Data privacy. AdTech/MarTech. Licensing. Tax implications of multinationals. The list goes on.
But take it from me, don’t go to law school.
Echo DD1, don’t go to law school. But to answer your question, you can also apply your tech knowledge toward patent and IP work. Science and engineering undergraduate or above backgrounds qualify you to sit for the US patent bar.
