No pressure from our management to go back in (although the offices are open). Re GS and JPM, does anyone know if there was actually a problem with WFH productivity, or are people just being forced to go back for no specific reason?

Seems like there’s not a good reason. Floor and diff groups doing well and having a good year for the most part. Seems like managers trying to earn brownie pts for bringing ppl back

Messaging has been different across divisions. We’ve been told that expectation is we will be back, however seems like BO has not been given that same message.

In terms of why, not really sure and honestly pretty angry about the abysmal messaging from management throughout.

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it? (I ran out of characters)
